— Hello!

I’m a software engineer who enjoys building practical systems at the intersection of search, AI, and product experience.

My story

I’m currently a Senior Machine Learning Systems Engineer at Atlassian, where I build the infrastructure behind Rovo Search, Rovo Chat, and other agentic experiences that help people get work done faster.

My work has ranged from shaping execution layers for AI assistants to designing integration patterns that make new capabilities feel natural, reliable, and useful. I’ve also spent time on search relevance, answer generation, and the kinds of systems that quietly make a product feel smarter over time.

Before that, I studied Computer Science at UC Berkeley and interned at Looker, which gave me a strong foundation in thoughtful product engineering and the importance of making complex tools feel clear and approachable. Over time, my curiosity has evolved from building features to shaping the architecture behind experiences people can genuinely trust and enjoy using.

What I value

Product thinking Thoughtful systems Clear collaboration Curiosity Practical creativity Human-centered design

Outside of work

When I’m not building or thinking about products, I’m usually spending time with my poochon Benji, drawing or taking photos, trying out new local food and drink spots, traveling, exercising at the gym or on hikes, tending to my houseplants, or getting absorbed in a sudoku puzzle or a jigsaw puzzle.
